Englewood is a southeast suburb of Denver and part of the Denver metro area. Incorporated in 1903, Englewood is home to over 30,000 residents and over 1,600 businesses. Englewood has a slightly milder climate than Denver, due to its location in the South Platte River Valley. Englewood is minutes away from Downtown Denver and Cherry Creek so you can enjoy the dining and shopping in those areas and is conveniently located alongside several Light Rail stations.

Swedish Medical Center and Craig Hospital are located in Englewood and are the largest employers in the city. Englewood’s Parks and Recreation services offer ample opportunity for adventure, including golf, a senior recreation center, Pirates Cove, adult and youth sports, and parks. Englewood’s public golf course is the 18-hole, par three Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course, which also offers a driving range, practice area, pro shop and restaurant/bar. The city offers a small town feeling with great perks. The neighborhoods of Englewood can be divided into quadrants. The northeast side is the oldest part of Englewood which contains a Light Rail station and where the General Iron metal fabrication plant was located before it was shut down. The southwest end is mainly an industrial area. You can find great residential areas on the southeast side of town. Last but not least, the northwest side of Englewood houses one of the largest hospital complexes in metro Denver. There are plenty of parks and recreational centers located in Englewood.
