Littleton is a southern suburb of Denver and is the county seat for Arapahoe County. Littleton was founded by engineer Richard Sullivan Little and his wife Angeline, New Hampshire natives who fell in love with the area after coming out to work on irrigation systems. By 1890, the town had a population of more than 240 people, who voted to incorporate as Littleton. Littleton is now a pristine suburban area where many families and single people have called home.
