This week we are going to see Yelp reviews of Cherry Cricket, located at 2641 E 2nd Ave, Denver, CO 80206. The term “legendary” is overused these days. But the Cherry Cricket lives up to the lofty classification and the revered reputation it holds as a bastion of classic neighborhood-bar culture. The Cherry Cricket’s clientele includes working stiffs, old schoolers and shoppers taking a break from chic hunting. It also welcomes a younger crowd, business lunchers, and families who savor the aforementioned “legendary” status of the Cricket.
Few of the top reviews are given below:
Jerome from Denver, CO says, “The C.C. ain’t bad for a burger – legend is they’re the best burger in town. I might argue that, but they’re in the discussion. I like mine with an egg and some funky blue-cheese. They have a good beer menu. Busy bar vibe, but its a nice change of pace for Cherry Creek and all their non-sense. CC is one of the few reasons worth heading down there.”
Celeste from Denver, CO says, “Great atmosphere, kid friendly (get a booth for fish watching), staff was very nice and on top of it. Can’t wait to go back and try the burger with peanut butter! Caution on the Mexican combo plate with red enchilada- is loaded with onions inside.”
Kristy from Denver, CO says, “Come here often and love it. Lots of fun/different add-ons for hamburgers and chicken sandwiches, they also have rice and beans as options for sides. Gotta love that! Especially with a good selection of hot sauce, my ideal chicken sandwich meal is complete! Brought my brother here when he came to visit, and he loved the options for hot sauce, you can choose from the hot sauces they use for their wings for their sandwiches. Just hate eating out of a basket, so I try to remember to ask for a plate. What a diva. I don’t always remember, but I try. Oh yeah – and they have beer!! Years back I would have their cobb salad which was amazing, but haven’t had it in many years. But huge, and everything was fresh. Had bad service, well unhappy jerky service on the patio on a warm sunny October Sunday this year, but I’ll take that as an exception, as it definitely hasn’t been the rule previous.”
