90 Listings in 90 Days!

All my life I thrived on people telling me, “You can’t do that” or “It can’t be done.” When people bet against me, it really gets my juices flowing and motivates me like nothing else. When someone lays down a challenge, I am usually the first person who says, “I’ll take that on.” Good or bad, that’s just my personality. So three weeks ago I heard about a challenge that has never been done in Denver before and I had that feeling again in the pit of my stomach. I was listening to the leader of a real estate team in Portland, Oregon who challenged his team to take 90 listings in 90 days. As I listened on how they did it, I had a real “Ah Ha!” moment. My first thought was that our team is perfectly built and positioned for such a challenge as this. My second thought was that we have to try this, and my third thought was that my team is going to think I am crazy or they are going to kill me.

Nonetheless, I proposed the idea and got the entire team to buy in. So we are off and running with the ‘90 Listings in 90 Days’ challenge. It’s as simple as us having to take one listing a day for the next 90 days. There are plenty of prizes and incentives on the table for the team to earn if they can pull off what’s never been done in Denver. I think it goes without saying that no one can pull off such an ambitious goal without the help of all of you. I tell the team all the time that no one succeeds alone. Everyone needs help every once in a while in life and this is one of those times. If you know of anyone thinking about selling, would you be so kind as to pass along their information to one of our team members so we can contact them? The rule of any ambitious goal is to tell everyone about it. That includes your friends, neighbors, lenders, pastor, dry cleaning owner, etc., etc.

This will not only help my team achieve their goal, but it will be a win-win situation for everyone. The people we are representing will get the best service in the state of Colorado while they achieve their goal of selling their home for the highest price in the shortest amount of time. By the time the challenge ends on May 31st, I hope to be able to report that we achieved our goal and helped our sellers achieve theirs.
