Just about everyone who’s buying a home today needs a loan to purchase. There are a ton of different types of loans a buyer can choose from when looking to purchase their new home.

If you’re considering purchasing a new home then you and I both know you’ve been on Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, and probably one or two Realtor’s webpages using their IDX search to find your new home.

I never thought that I would hear the words “I can’t find a home” from a buyer, but five years after the nationwide real estate crash, this seems to be a reoccurring theme. In April and May, there were only about 5,000 single-family homes on the market in the entire Denver MLS.

As my teams lead buyer’s agent I do nothing but show homes to buyers. I love it. I love seeing what the trends in homes are, stepping into someone else’s life for just a moment, helping people find their dream home.

With the market having next to no inventory, properties coming on the market Monday and sold by Wednesday, and multiple offers left and right it’s no wonder that new construction is in popular demand.

With all the communities in development around the Denver Metro Area you’ll find there are quite a few builders to choose from. This can get complicated for buyers since they may not know the styles that each builder specializes in, the communities they work out of, and the builder’s reputations.

We have been meeting with lots of sellers over the last few weeks that wanted to put their home up for sale, and take advantage of a red-hot seller’s market. As one would expect, everyone wanted to get top dollar for his or her home.
