Just about everyone who’s buying a home today needs a loan to purchase. There are a ton of different types of loans a buyer can choose from when looking to purchase their new home.

There is a saying in business that 20% of the people you deal with create 80% of your aggravation. I believe this to be true because I have seen it time and time again in my own life. The question is: what do you do with the 20% that you consider as toxic people? Answer…you remove yourself from doing business with that 20%.

I never thought that I would hear the words “I can’t find a home” from a buyer, but five years after the nationwide real estate crash, this seems to be a reoccurring theme. In April and May, there were only about 5,000 single-family homes on the market in the entire Denver MLS.

In a seller’s market, there is a practice known as ‘tying up the property’. When a good listing comes on the market, there can be a bit of frenzy. Everyone wants to get a look at it. The realtors want to do a good job and make sure that they secure the property for their client.

With all the communities in development around the Denver Metro Area you’ll find there are quite a few builders to choose from. This can get complicated for buyers since they may not know the styles that each builder specializes in, the communities they work out of, and the builder’s reputations.

We have been meeting with lots of sellers over the last few weeks that wanted to put their home up for sale, and take advantage of a red-hot seller’s market. As one would expect, everyone wanted to get top dollar for his or her home.
